Virginia brought her daughter Evie to Bill, when she was eight years old! He then raised her, with loving care, making sacrifices of time and energy as well as money to back her up in her participation as a flag-twirling girl at high school football games! When she graduated, she got a job as a teller at a bank and worked her way up into supervisory responsibility!

When Evie wanted to get married, Bill paid for her wedding at Las Vegas! But that marriage was against Bill's better judgment; he did not feel that Evie's choice for an husband had been a good one; and, unfortunately, that proved to be the case.

Under the stress of her failing marriage, Evie lost her job and, finally, the marriage itself! She could not take it any longer!

As an outlet for her feelings of being betrayed, Evie turned to poetry and successfully published a book containing her poems! Then she met the man she is now happily married to; for he proved to be a very loving and generous husband! And we rejoice for her new happiness!
