Bill was a keen observer of the mistakes of his father and two older brothers and made a personal commitment to avoid them - the mistakes, not the family! So for years he came across to me as a young man with an abundant measure of wisdom along with much affection and sociability! In fact, he has acted as Chairman of the family's Social Committee, initiating one pleasurable event after another, over the years!

Bill married Virginia, who brought him Evie, a daughter eight years old from a previous marriage, whom he diligently raised to young womanhood and marriage!

Virginia also got Bill a job in the school district for which she was working; and he became an extraordinary member of their Data Processing Department, tackling, as few others have known how, the sophisticated reporting requirements of the federal "No Child Left Behind" educational program and thereby causing his district to have an excellent standing with the State of California!

Virginia served Bill, wonderfully, as a wife, for seventeen years, but fell into difficulty with him for personal reasons; and divorce brought a tragic end to that marriage!

Bill followed my teachings as an Israeli pastor, for many years, but has now found inspiration and comfort in the teachings of the apostolic church!
