Andrew found Angela while we were living in an house a block behind the office he had established for his computer enterprise. She was small, which went well with Andrew's short stature; she had a beautiful voice; she had a great sense of humor; and she seemed to be everything he had wanted in a wife.

Over the years Angela bore Andrew all five of the grandchildren shown on this site as coming from him, prior to having difficulties with him sufficient to go her way; so honorable mention of her as the mother of Angel, Joshua, Jeremiah, Amaris and Joseph is, certainly, appropriate!

I worked alongside Angela, for years, as she bore not only her children but the responsibilities of providing for them; and I know the long hours she put in, looking through stacks of clothing at yard sales, washing a dozen baskets of clothing at a time at laundromats and cooking every day of the year, while she endeavored to cope with that mounting array of chores, which got bigger every time she bore another of Andrew's children into the world!

Angela told me she enjoyed being pregnant; but it never seemed to occur to her that the new pregnancy would add to her already staggering burden of caring for them. I was there to help her; but a father-in-law simply does not cut it, when it comes to the specific and important things that a mother does to keep children going!

Furthermore, it never occurred to Andrew to hire help for Angela, for the simple reason that his servicing of computer clients would always earn bare;u enough to pay the overhead, making the taking on of further monthly expense an unacceptable consideration!

So, in my view, the basic problem Angela had was that of biting off more than she could chew! And at a certain point she simply broke, under the strain, and "headed for the hills"!

I could perhaps add that, although I know Angela made efforts to understand the religion of her husband's family, it never seemed to become real for her, to where she could look to Yehovaw for comfort, strength and support in the challenge of caring for her husband and children, which relentlessly faced her every day of her life!

Without that spiritual support from the One Who created us and is giving us the breath of life by which to experience anything, any one of us flounders and falls into the abyss of painful inadequacy; so I believe that factor, too, led to Angela's inability to continue coping with the demands of her marriage and motherhood!

To Angela's credit, when she had gotten away from the full brunt of her responsibilities, she continued to use the visiting privilege of Andrew's and her divorce agreement; and to this day she has continued to relate favorably with her children and is at present bettering her circumstances, so as to be able to help them more as their needs increase as they move into young adulthood!
