"Faro" - more correctly "Farid II" (named after his father) - was a young teenager, when Luz brought him into Pete's life. He loved astronomy and nature in general and loved it, when Pete would take them to the desert, to enjoy an outing as a family!

Faro was very reserved; and it really took some doing to get him to express an idea about anything! His natural father's being a very stern and domineering man may have had something to do with that; but Pete's gentle nature soon made him feel at home, although his natural father prohibited any mention of Pete as the provider of any home.

Faro eventually graduated from high school and got a job with a company, where he succeeded for several years, until he finally lost the job and went into electrical work as an apprentice!

But, while Faro was still with the company, he met Melanie the woman he would marry! They had quite a wedding in Las Vegas; and they soon had a daughter, Aubryanna, who by now, in December of 2010, is five years old; and then they had a second daughter, Annasya, who at this writing is two years old.

Faro's tendency to be withdrawn was intensified, as the family learned that his new wife was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses, who are against family celebrations of any kind, Christmas, birthdays - you name it.

Faro and Melanie have come to visit Pete and Luz, occasionally, when they would come next door and show Rosetta and me their beautiful family, who technically make us great grandparents; so we have been able to follow the growth of the girls, who, whether they know it or not, are members of a most extraordinary family!
