Luz came to Pete as a virtual angel, in contrast to the five would-be wives through whom his efforts to establish a home with children had run! She had been abused by her previous husband; but, instead of becoming bitter, she simply became grateful to Pete for the lovingkindness with which he always treated her; and he adored her for that appreciation for what he tried so diligently to provide for her!

My being an Israeli pastor, my interpretation of Luz's wonderful success with Pete takes into account her great faith in Yehovaw, the Lord God of the bible of the children of Israel! So it grieved me and Luz, as well, that Pete turned from the very religion I taught him and that he in turn taught Luz, to where for a while she had to "keep the faith" in spite of zero spiritual leadership from Pete, from the day on which he turned his back on the part of his courtship of her that had been the most attractive to her, once she was convinced that what she had learned from the Catholic church was not what the bible said!

Since then, with Pete's having returned to the faith of his family, Luz now has back the husband that she thought she married; and his renewed faith has so well blessed him in his work opportunities, that Luz is now ecstatic!

Luz is also a diligent student of all that pertains to good health care! She is a wonderful cook, making use of her extensive knowledge of good foods together with great ways in which to prepare them; and she is always offering her delicious food to someone, either in her home, next door or wherever!.

Luz bore Pete, Mayim, a lovely fifteen-year-old daughter (as of 2009) whom I describe below, as one of our grandchildlren!

For awhile, Luz worked as a teacher's assistant in her local school district; but now, with her husband able to cover the family's needs financially, she has been permitted to be and do what she does best, which is to be a loving wife, mother and homemaker.
