Would you like to know about Floyd's wife Rosetta?

Welcome to the page on which Floyd talks about

his wife Rosetta!

Rosetta was born of Italian parents, who were immigrants from Sicily! They settled in St. Louis, Missouri, where they raised their large family, with Rosetta's being one of the several daughters!

Rosetta's father died of hepatitis, when she was fourteen years old; so she quit school and went to work in factories to help support her mother and the family!

I met Rosetta at the Casa Loma Ballroom in St. Louis, as an airman on weekend pass from Scott Field, Illinois! After two years of my going with her, I was discharged from the Air Force; and I asked her to marry me, so that I could bring her with me to California, where I had been raised.

Rosetta was worried about leaving her mother without support; but her mother had grown to like me, during my courtship of Rosetta; so she told her to marry me and make a life for herself, saying that it was about time for her brothers and sisters to take more responsibility in the family's support. She was the best friend I ever had!

Better known as "Grandma", now, Rosetta is still with me, after fifty-seven years of ups and downs, comings and goings, since we were married in 1952! She loves her children, our three wonderful sons, Pete, Andrew and William, their wives and their children, our grandchildren! But in Costa Mesa, California, we live closest to our oldest son Pete, his wife Luz and their daughter Mayim!

Amen! Alleluia!
